Freires essay comp bes two types of pedagogy, which he calls banking and problem posing.    unless paying attention only to that number can overhaul to an over-simplification of Freires argument.  The two types of education are important because of what they imply about the context, purpose, and effects of education, not just because of what happens in the sieveroom (which is what the list focuses on).  Many students interpret banking education to be synonymous with classrooms where in that respect are lecture, where students are expected to memorize and regurgitate, where facts are taught.  They ofttimes say math, sciences, and languages must be banked, or that elementary schooldays must be banking.  They see problem-posing classrooms as ones where students have discussion, sharing their opinions, being creative.
Where my question comes in, is what if life was taught only by the problem-posing system? Would students/ multitude be or would have been more fortunate because they found a coping environment suited to a way they would like to learn. Would things possibly be more innovative because people decided to pursue farther in education because of their unique way to learn and the unique way to be taught? I retrieve yes to both of the questions I stated.



Many kids are not graduating because they find school boring, not what they want to learn etc. For example I had a teacher in high school that taught my class in a precise maneuver environment. I didnt have any distractions. I was focused 100% of the time. I did not struggle with the class at all and nearly retained everything that I was taught. The fun laughable environment is where I see myself fitting outflank in when it comes to receiving education. If Im able to enjoy instruction, I can focus a lot better.
Students I think wouldnt be limited on what they could learn. As I stated above I think more people would have pursued further in their education if they had a learning environment best suited to fit their learning style.
