I chose the article, See How They Learn, by Paul Harris in the Training and Development Journal, January 2008. In our world today, there ar several ways of training. Some trainers use manuals, risques, power institutionalize presentations, and workshops. But, which way is the most hard-hitting way to train? harmonize to Harris, People are always looking for the most effective way to deliver training. A Harvard University law professor, Charles R. Nesson, has his students master the game of poker before they can enroll into his class. He believes that if they are honest in the game it will help their concepts or assay management, strategic analysis, and other life lessons. Poker skills could help mellow school students who are struggling with math. thitherfore, he has formed the (GPSTS) worldwide Poker Strategic Thinking Society to promote the game as a learning tool. Her way of training helps people adapt to changing environments, fulfil information, work in teams, and enables them to collaborate better. Harris states in the article, Finch says, It enables individuals to recognize whether theyre helping or hindering a situation with their attitude, and staying snappish for new opportunities.
