There is an Indian reservation nearby, plainly most of the Nez Pierce Indians chose to stay on their reservation. Some people from out of state or Californians’ have purchased large quantities of land from the local Forest Service, and they have started wapiti ranches. They keep the Elk in an enclosure and then they charge the out of state people thousands of dollars to come here and hunt the Elk on their farms causing other out of state people to be fascinated with our territory.
